Gandhi first employed non-violent civil disobedience while an expatriate lawyer in South Africa, during the resident Indian community's struggle for civil rights. After his return to India in 1915, he organized protests by peasants, farmers, and urban labourers concerning excessive land-tax and discrimination. After assuming leadership of the Indian National Congress in 1921, Gandhi led nationwide campaigns to ease poverty, expand women's rights, build religious and ethnic amity, end untouchability, and increase economic self-reliance.

Pedophilia Voyeurism and the Thought Police?   

In a past story from California, there is a guy that is a self proclaimed pedophile. However, he says he doesn't act on or engage in pedophilia, he is simply a voyeur of children. He also takes pictures of them in public and posts them on his website. They have tried to take him to court, although he hasn't committed a crime, therefore he cannot be held for anything since there is no law against looking.

Is what this guy is doing creepy? YES! I have 2 nieces that i would do anything for, including going to prison for life if I had to in order to protect them.

However, if we start playing big brother and convicting people for what they think or their view points, especially when no action follows the thought, you might as well just put up bars around the whole country and call it "The United Prison of America".

Should there be an implementation of a "Thought Police" in America, to arrest and convict citizens for their thoughts, even when they haven't committed any crimes?  Think of the times you wished someone was dead or wished them harm (if you have), should you then be imprisoned because you thought of it?

What most people don't realize...is that God could be a complete lie. People are willing to be mindless sheep heading to the slaughter house for a philosophy that is force fed to them on a daily basis, without question. Why would you follow a religion that doesn't completely encompass your whole of beliefs. If you're able to pick and choose what you believe from the bible because you don't believe in a few things, how can everything else you decide to accept be true. This is a subject I will explore in future posts.
